The Original Chipotle is on the metaverse at their original virtual location of 1644 E. Evans Ave., Denver, Colorado. Chipotle Mexican Grill is one of the first chains to set up in the metaverse. The chain is launching the Chipotle Burrito Builder on the gaming platform Roblox. Players can earn Burrito Bucks by rolling burritos. On National Burrito Day the first 100,000 Roblox players to successfully roll a burrito were able to exchange that virtual currency for a real-life Chipotle entrée via the chain’s app or website. Last October, the 3,000-unit fast casual debuted its Chipotle Boorito Maze on Roblox. Players who made it through the maze nabbed a digital code for a free burrito, leading to Chipotle’s highest digital sales day in its history.
Chipotle’s Burrito Builder will take players way back to 1993, the year the chain’s very first store opened in Denver.
Wendy’s is launching a virtual reality hub where fans can visit the iconic burger stand using an Oculus headset.

Wendy’s has been steady in the rush to establish a locale in the metaverse with a longterm goal of expanding on the lone digital restaurant. The company’s slogan is “you know when it’s real.”
